We celebrated communion last night during our Sunday evening GetTogether. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I had a great time. If you’re wondering how you can have a “great time” during communion, this is how:
I mentioned that Jesus’ command was that we are to celebrate communion “in remembrance of” Him. So I asked the people who had gathered to share their stories “of Him” – I asked them to remember grace.
Their stories – some of which may have never had been spoken before – ranged from the funny to the sad, from the wild to the very solemn. But each one was a memory and a reflection on the One whom we were there to remember.
